Arctos Sports Partners is a private equity firm focused on acquiring passive minority stakes in professional sports franchises as well as providing liquidity and structured growth capital solutions to sports franchise control owners and governors. The Arctos team has strong experience in alternative investments and domain expertise across the sports, media, and technology industries.
Arctos is led by co-managing partners Ian Charles, a prominent investor, and David "Doc" O’Connor, the former Chief Executive Officer of the Madison Square Garden Company, while it also counts ex-Turner Sports president David Levy and history-making baseball executive Theo Epstein among its advisors.
Arctos was founded in 2019 with offices in Dallas and New York.
