Join CAP as we hear from Erik Moss ('03), Managing Director & Global Fixed Income Senior Strategist at BlackRock. Mr. Moss oversees $150B in assets under management (AUM) across BlackRock's multi-sector mutual funds and institutional separate account strategies. He will discuss the process of analyzing fixed income securities and formulating a macro investment thesis, as well as diving into how the firm constructs its investment products and portfolios to suit client needs best.

Erik Moss - Managing Director at BlackRock
Erik Moss, CFA, CAIA, Managing Director, is a Senior Product Strategist within BlackRock's Global Fixed Income (GFI) group, based in New York. He is responsible both for providing a link between investment teams and client groups and for developing the fixed income product platform. In this capacity, he supports the full suite of multi-sector products and the broad GFI platform.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Moss was a part of BlackRock Solutions where he served in a variety of roles, most recently responsible for the front-office implementation of BlackRock Solutions' enterprise investment system, Aladdin. Prior to that, Mr. Moss led a team that analyzed credit exposures for several large scale projects undertaken by the Financial Markets Advisory group throughout the global financial crisis. Mr. Moss joined BlackRock in 2005 as an analyst in the Portfolio Analytics Group focusing on providing risk management and hedge advisory services to mortgage banks.
Mr. Moss earned a BA degree in Economics from Columbia University and a MA degree from City College of New York in conjunction with his time at New York City Teaching Fellows. Mr. Moss is a CFA Charter holder, a member of the CFA Institute of New York and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
